Hurricane Charlie essays Many people left without water, electric, food, homes, jobs, and even loved ones. Hurricane Charley came through and left the state of Florida in shambles, to say the least. Millions of people lost power for days; some people lost everything that they owned. This storm is considered to be the worst Florida has seen in about twelve years, and is considered by many to be worse than Hurricane Andrew. The state of Florida is considered to be a Federal Disaster Area, and is getting help from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). Now Im going to give you a little bit of insight to let you know just how bad the storm has affected the economy of the State of Florida and even how it has affected the economy of the United States. Now when you think of Florida, you think of Mickey Mouse dont you? Well most people did, but arent to keen on the idea of coming to a hurricane zone.
